Rroma Community Centers

With its mission to serve and unite the Roma community in the U.S. and serve the larger global community, Rroma Council has identified five key U.S. cities to establish community and recreational centers. These cities are:

• Edison, NJ

• Hartford,CT

• Houston, TX

• Los Angeles, CA

• Manhattan, New York, NY

While serving all populations, the main focus of these centers, locally and regionally, is youth outreach and education. By helping our youth identify their strengths, interests and needs, we are committed to fostering a generation of Roma people who will better serve the Roma community, their communities at large, and their roles as ambassadors for our community.

 Some of the Council’s programs held at these centers will include:

• Employment counseling and resources

• Academic guidance and continued education

• Assistance for better access to health services

• Recreation aimed at building community and consensus

• Legal advice and civil rights education
